Pleasure of detail.

My goal is creating a piece of finest structure with my best ability of sights and fingers. This effort is limitless and endless. Currently, my major tool is a fine drawing with ink.

Placing thin and short lines one after the other, I feel like sink into this work deeply, start to see a fine and ordered scenery; and then, my body loses flexibility and become more and more stoic. Repeated movement encourages my mind but, at the same time, restricts movement of my body further and further; and I feel like I am wearing a corset.

Then, the structure produced through this repetitive and endless efforts calls patterns on ancient textile, pottery, and architectures to our minds. Gradually, the works start to look like repetitive structures of cells seen in animal skins and tissues.

The entire structure produced with enomous number of fine parts loses borders, expands, and starts to creating a series of stories endlessly. It is my great pleasure if my experiences can create a new story inside you through your own sights and feelings.
